We just picked him up today. Claire named him Jack, he's a shih tzu, and he is only 8 weeks old. His original name was Triscuit because the first owners kept him and his five siblings in a cupboard. Jack's foster mom said the 'pantry pups' hadn't seen the light of day for the first six weeks of their lives, and had a hard time walking around at first. But being puppies, they all bounced back rather quickly.
Obviously, he is quite the cute pup. What we know about him so far, is that he loves to lay in the grass and watch cars drive by when he's not chasing Claire around the yard. He hates his collar and has no idea what a leash is for. I'm sure we'll add a lot to that list quickly.

Jack is great! What a cute little guy! I'm so glad you rescued him from the cupboard. He's lucky you found him and brought him home.
What a sweet pup....we are thinking of getting another one as well. Lucky Claire - and I love the name!!
