Claire is talking to my mom on the phone. I've been listening to her half of the conversation.

"Grandma? Are you still talking? I want Grandpa to be on the phone."

    I love this!

    It is not only what Claire is thinking while most of us chat on the phone with her, it's also what my whole class is thinking while I'm shpeeling on whatever topic I have wandered into.
